Mes clothespin cards sur les monuments du monde
Pour mes élèves de CE2, en réfléchissant à ce que je pouvais faire pour moderniser quelques activités de type Montessori, m'est venue l'idée de cette première série de clothespin cards (cartes à pince ou carte à choix) sur les monuments du monde.
Le principe est on ne peut plus intuitif. Pour chaque carte du jeu, l'élève doit associer un continent au monument présenté sur la carte plastifiée en plaçant une pince à linge au bon endroit. Pour vérifier son travail, il retourne la carte : une gommette (jaune pour qu'elle ne se voie pas par transparence) lui indique la bonne réponse.
Dans ma classe, je laisse les cartes à disposition sur un petit plateau pour les temps libres... C'est un succès tel que le jeu se compose désormais de 53 cartes et que... je doute de pouvoir en rester là ! Sachez que je prévois donc des mises à jour ultérieures :D...
J'ai également réalisé une variante de ces cartes avec la police d'écriture Cursive Dumont Maternelle.
Pour un stage de découverte du monde organisé par les ateliers Montessori en Anjou, j'ai enfin réalisé une variante de ces cartes ne comportant pas les noms des continents.
Ah et je précise que l'Antarctique est... inhabité, sauf cas de projets scientifiques ! Il ne fera donc son apparition que si je me lance dans des cartes faune/flore autour du monde comme j'en ai le projet durant cet été.
Pour réaliser mes clothespin cards sur les monuments du monde, je suis partie de notre vécu de classe autour de ces deux livres et de ces figurines, que je vous recommande donc pour concrétiser un peu les choses pour nos petits élèves voyageurs.

Je viens juste de découvrir ton site donc je n'ai pas regardé s'il y a des lieux qui se regroupent, mais je prends tes cartes! Merci beaucoup!!!!!

Je t'en prie ! Ma collègue de CE2 a mis en place ce rituel dans sa classe mais je ne le connais pas, pour ma part. Il serait sans doute intéressant de les faire se recouper, en effet ! Je garde l'idée dans un coin de ma tête.

Sur ton inspiration j'ai fait des cartes à pinces sur les oeuvres d'art que nous étudions en HDA pour les replacer dans les différentes périodes historiques. Nous avons un projet HDA dans la classe donc pas mal de cartes ;-)
J'ai choisi de mettre un petit texte avec presque toutes les images qui les explique un peu ou au moins donne le nom de l'oeuvre, l'artiste et des indices pour trouver la période quand l'oeuvre n'a pas été étudié énormément en classe.
Si cela t'intéresse je peux t'envoyer le dossier.

Je suis bien ravie que tu aies enchaîné avec la création de ton propre matériel HdA, MireilleS *_____* ! Je te remercie également pour cette belle proposition... qu'après une longue réflexion et non sans quelques regrets je décline néanmoins pour les deux raisons suivantes... Je préfère :
1) ne pas te promettre un travail de remise en page ou une publication en l'état que je n'aurai vraisemblablement le temps de réaliser qu'à partir de cet été !
2) créer le document Histoire des Arts que j'avais en tête sans influence extérieure (choix des oeuvres, modalités de présentation,...).
J'espère que tu n'es pas trop déçue par cette réponse qui, crois-le bien, me coûte car je suis persuadée, vu ta description, que ta création est top
!Ce que je te propose toutefois (si cela t'intéresse et te satisfait comme proposition !), c'est de m'envoyer ton document personnel pour publication ou remise en page une fois que j'aurais créé le mien.

Ce serait super si tu as le courage de le faire, sinon je veux bien m'en occuper ? Deux solutions, tu me fais parvenir le modèle des cartes et je me charges de tout, ou bien je te trouve les photos légendées et je te laisse gérer la mise en page ?
Je viens de plastifier tes deux séries, j'ai hâte de les voir dans les mains de mes élèves à la rentrée :-)

Ne t'inquiète pas, Jessica, j'ai noté le déséquilibre de mes séries, que je tâcherai effectivement de combler dès que possible par tes documents complémentaires (je m'en expliquerai plus tard car oui, il y a une explication
!).Si tu en es toujours d'accord (et comme je ne partage pas mes trames), je veux bien que tu m'envoies tes idées pour l'Amérique du Sud sous forme de liste toute simple (je chercherai moi-même les images qui conviennent à l'insertion dans le document source). Je vais le mettre en place avec mes CE1 pour un peu de culture générale et je vais peut être mettre à disposition des bouquins pour pouvoir approfondir si ils le souhaitent. A moins que je ne mette un résumé derrière la carte avec diverses infos et le pays... Pour ma part j'ai opté pour l'impression sur du papier un peu cartonné et pour l'autocorrection grâce à une marque de feutre car cela faisait une petite épaisseur avec la gommette qui pouvait se "sentir" au doigt.
Je n'hésiterai pas à faire un retour d'utilisation après quelques semaines!

The photos where taken from the cockpit of the iconic jets as the squadron trained over the skies of East Yorkshire. Team photographer SAC Hannah Beevers captured images from the backseat of Red 10's jet - showing her comrades flying in formation. The shots show the Squadron flying over York Minster, the Humber Bridge and Humberside Airport before heading back to their base at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire. The Squadron is renowned for daring displays and brought the whole formation together for the first time this season just three weeks ago. The Red Arrows begin training for the forthcoming season almost as soon as the previous year has ended.
